A new novel written by the autor of Solitude in the Net is also about
internet love. But not only... Marcin, a highlander living near
Nowy Targ, a director of the museum is taking care of his mother, who
is paralysed after a stroke. She has to use a cart for disabled. The
action of the book starts on the day of her death. Marcin stays alone
and he discovers the unbelivable posibilities of the intenet. All of
his brothers, Piotr, Adam and Błażej are in diffrent parts of thr
world. Now, thanks to emails staying in touch witch them seems easier.
The book becomes more vivid and colorful thanks to Siekierowa. She is
an old kighland woman but she stays in touch with modern world using a
mobile phone. She has some friends both in church and the inn. But the
love story is the most important. Marcin, as a young man was
brokenheatted. She cought in flagranti the woman, who e loved. Long
tine after this event he had attacks of paralysing fear. He kept away
from women. But he met Emilia on internet chat. They both celebrated
this relationship. They were talking at the same time of the day with a
glass or sometimet the whole bottle of wine, listening to music.
As the time went by they started talking in the moreprivate. Finally
Marcin decided to meet Emilia personally. When he visited her he found
out that she is a disabled person. He felt the paralysing fear again...
