The Davinci Code is one of the most popular novel in the recent years. The narration of this work mainly encircled of these aspects: Fisrtly, The curator of the Louvre has been brutally murdered, before he died, he had left a series of baffling codes, as well as positioned himself in a very strange way but implicated something. So, our hero was taken to the scene under suspicious by the police. Afterwards, the granddaughter of the curator helped him escaped finally, with their decoding processces all the way to find the truth of the curator's death, they at last found the very significant religious secret. During the period of decoding, quite a lot of knowledge led to a study of religious symbology. Most significantly, the author had reversed some general knowledge in order to prove the existing evidence mentioned in his book. For example, the sex of Mona Lisa, the birth of Jesus and so on. Personally, All these powerful evidence was the mose attractve points in this book. Secondly, the teacher and his follower of Opus Dei were abducted and deceived by a wire-puller in order to capture the religious secrets where the curator was in charge. This part was not quite much exciting. Personally, I think it was just a necessary content that had to be put into the book. Thirdly, the hero and the heroine was stacking against the killer, the manipulator and finally found the status of the wire-puller. I realised this part was even worse, because the setup of the scenarios were to conventional, which made it not attractive at a. I think it is not important to investigate the status of the wire-puller. The ending made me no suprise as well. The fourth point, which I think it is just the common style of Hollywood movie, the great love between the hero and the heroine, nothing to be judged about. To sum up, this book is very worth for you to look at, but you can never give it a high expectation. If you are interested in this kind of novel, you can see the movie of 'National treasure' first, which was quite similar to this 'DA Vinci Code'.
