this great nation has endured over the years. Our sovereignty seems to
diminished. People of great faces, nationalities, religions, gender and
sexual preferences. All make up a melting pot that represents the
twenty-first century of the new land. Since 1776, The United States has
gone through many changes. Although i can only speak from 1969 to
current 2008, changes has made America experience hardships and growing
pains of many. From what i have seen over the years and sensed over the
years has lead me to write based on opinions(of course), and gut
feelings of what is to come in the future. These are not facts of
course, however, feelings of emotions of acceptance of likes and
dislikes. Let me start with what concerns me with this great nation.
Our very own waters. polluted by corporate America, the very people who
run the government. the blind eye of people disrespecting the very
waters that the melting pot drink, swim, wash, and bath in. Our very
waters are shrinking around the country. What was unheard of many times
over, is slowly becoming a mainstream of reality. Droughts. Many
droughts are now affecting many states across the country. Causing many
concerns for American people on how and where to drink water. Pretty
soon. The United States will be robbing Peter to pay Paul.We as a whole
society continue to cause havoc to our land and water. We continue to
litter this great nation, we continue to take for granted our food
supply. We continue to waste and waste and waste food while others go
without everyday. We push for corruption. After all sex sells. My
point i am trying to make is this. If we as a society want to continue
enjoying what is left to enjoy, we have better start thinking about our
actions and start a little bit of responsible in our environment. The
United States has gone from a great nation of wealth and freedom to
economic hardship of shifting jobs overseas to corrupted government to
corrupted wall street to corp ate America going bad.Even our school
system has gone down the drain. More and More kids are quitting school
at a faster pace than ever. Too many kids are focused on my space and
the internet more now than ever. Fewer and fewer are succeeding in
graduating. Although Abortion is actually decreasing by a little
through years of educating the public. Abortion is still in heavy
attack. The morals in this country have gone right down the drain.
Although i am not so much referring to murder, rape, abortion, and drug
abuse, i am referring to a society that has become very lazy,
unmotivated, selfish, and irresponsible in its own actions from day to
day. It seems like society just doesn''t care anymore. We do what we
want. when we want. If we don''t like it we throw it away. we have lost
respect for the elderly. we look at the elderly as a burden. a problem.
A way of extorting their life savings out of them while they stay in
their local nursing homes. We drop them off at let them deal with it.
We take them for every thing that they have. We continue to beat up on
the homeless people as if the homeless are a targets of freaks of
nature. Society overlooks the homeless with a sense of compassion and
we turn and beat on them for no reason. we are taught that this is
funny. To dehumanize another persons rights. To walk up to them without
disregard and start punching them, kicking them, urinating on them
until they have had enough. Yet, we justify it as who gives a shit. God
does. We commit awful crimes, we abuse animals for no reason, we murder
over and over and over,and over. We take everything for granted. We
want more and more and more and more and more and more. Then, we want
more, and more. Never satisfied with what we have. I can only imagine
it getting worse before this gets better. Stick around for part two.
